The Medela Hands-Free Breast Shield - 24 mm - 2 Pieces is suitable for all Medela breast pumps with the hands-free collection cups. When pumping, it is very important to use a properly fitting breast shield to ensure optimal comfort. A breast shield that is too small or too large can be painful and may negatively affect milk flow. The size of the breast shell is correct when the nipple can move freely in the shaft without the areola being sucked into the shaft and the breast feels soft after pumping. The breast shield is made of high-quality material and the shields are dishwasher-safe. Note! Medela recommends replacing the breast shields every 3-6 months, depending on how often you pump.
