Medela Nipple Shields protect nipples with cracked or sore nipples from friction before and after breastfeeding. This gives the sensitive breast tissue time to recover. The soft and flexible silicone membrane feels comfortable and adapts to your breast. Place the opening of the nipple shield over your nipple. The back of the nipple shield then rests against the surrounding skin.
