Britax Römer BABY-SAFE CORE car seat - Space Black

The Britax Römer BABY-SAFE CORE car seat - Space Black is perfect for safely transporting your newborn in the car. This can be done very easily by installing the seat with the 3-point seatbelt or combining it with an Isofix base. In addition, transferring the seat to another car is a breeze, as its lightweight design allows you to carry it effortlessly with you. Since the seat is part of a Britax Römer travel system, it connects directly to most strollers. This way, you don’t need to wake your baby if you want to continue the journey with the stroller. With the separately available adapters, you can click the car seat onto the stroller frame while your baby keeps snoozing peacefully.

Safety

The Britax Römer BABY-SAFE CORE car seat is approved according to the latest European i-Size safety standard R129/03. This means the car seat has been thoroughly tested for safety and developed in line with the most recent regulations in this area. The complete seat shell and cushioned pads provide the best protection in the event of a collision. These materials absorb the initial impact and divert the forces away from your child. From birth to about 6 months, you can use the included newborn insert. This foam-filled cushion provides extra support to the little body but also absorbs the energy released in an accident.

Installation in the car

Your child’s first car seat is always installed facing the opposite direction of travel. Thanks to simple installation, the Britax Römer BABY-SAFE CORE car seat can be installed in almost any car. If you purchase the Britax Römer BABY-SAFE CORE Isofix Base, you can click it into the Isofix points of the car. Only then is the base—and ultimately the car seat—anchored to the car’s chassis. The colored indicators show you whether you’ve correctly secured the base and seat. If your car doesn’t have Isofix points, you can still safely install the baby car seat by securing it with the 3-point seatbelt.

Comfort

The Britax Römer BABY-SAFE CORE car seat isn’t just super safe—it’s also incredibly comfortable for your child. You can adjust the headrest in 10 positions, with the straps automatically adjusting as you do so. This 3-point belt is equipped with soft belt pads to prevent the straps from rubbing against the skin. Additionally, the upholstery of the Britax Römer baby car seat feels wonderfully soft and is neatly finished for a stylish look. If your child happens to make a mess on the upholstery, it can be easily removed for washing, so your child can enjoy the car seat for even longer.
