The Recaro Velix 1 Car seat is a versatile car seat that grows with your child from 15 months to approximately 12 years. Thanks to its clever design, the seat is suitable for children from 76 to 150 cm and provides years of optimal safety and comfort. The car seat meets the strict UN R129/04 i-Size safety standard and combines high-quality protection with user-friendly features for everyday convenience.

Safety

The Recaro Velix 1 is designed to protect your child optimally during every car ride. For children from 76 to 105 cm, the integrated 5-point harness is used, which keeps your child securely and safely in place. From 105 cm onwards, you use the car seatbelt to secure your child. Additionally, the car seat features Advanced Side Protection (ASP), which provides extra protection in the event of a side collision. The seat meets the latest i-Size safety standards and is equipped with clear indicators for both ISOFIX and Top Tether, so you can always be sure that the car seat is correctly installed.

Comfort

Extensive thought has also been given to comfort. For children up to 105 cm, the Recaro Velix 1 has three comfortable recline positions, so your child can relax or sleep during the journey. The headrest is adjustable in no less than 17 positions and easily grows with your child's height. Thanks to the soft upholstery, ergonomic design and optimal support for the head, neck and shoulders, your child always sits comfortably, whether on short trips or long journeys.

Ease of use

The Recaro Velix 1 effortlessly grows with the different developmental stages of your child. From a height of 100 cm, the seat can be converted from a car seat with a 5-point harness to a booster seat using the car’s 3-point seatbelt. The upholstery is easily removable and washable, making the seat easy to keep clean. Additionally, the harnesses and Top Tether can be neatly stored when not in use.

Car installation

For children from 76 to 105 cm, the Recaro Velix 1 is installed using ISOFIX and Top Tether for maximum stability and safety. Once your child grows taller, the car seat can be used as a booster seat from 100 cm with ISOFIX and the car seatbelt or solely with the vehicle’s 3-point safety belt. Thanks to the clear color and status indicators, you can easily check whether all attachment points are correctly connected. This way, you can always set off with peace of mind.
