This system helps to reduce the impact of a collision by absorbing the released energy before it reaches your child. In addition, the deep side wings and the 5-point safety harness with soft belt pads ensure that your child sits securely and safely in the car seat.

Installation in the car

The Britax Römer DUALFIX 5Z car seat is installed using a separately available, compatible Isofix base, such as the Britax Römer Vario Base 5Z. You can easily attach the base to the Isofix mounting points in the car. The support leg provides extra stability. Thanks to the 360° rotation function, you can easily turn the car seat towards the car door, making it effortless to place your child in the seat. The car seat can be used forward-facing from a height of 76 cm and an age of at least 15 months. However, for optimal safety, it is recommended to transport your child rear-facing for as long as possible, up to a height of 105 cm.
