This car seat can be used from 3 months up to 4 years and can be installed rear-facing and forward-facing. The car seat is easy to install in the car using the (separately available) Britax Römer Vario Base 5Z. The fact that the car seat can rotate 360° in combination with this Isofix base is, of course, a major advantage. The car seat can be used forward-facing from 15 months onwards, but it is safer to transport your child rear-facing from the start until 4 years.
